Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start a fast?

Open youFAST, tap the Fast tab, and tap "Start Fast." Choose your fasting protocol (16:8, OMAD, etc.) and Ember will track your progress in real time.

My streak disappeared — what happened?

Streaks require completing a fast each day. If you ended a fast early or didn't fast yesterday, your streak resets. Check the History tab to see your past fasts.

Why isn't my health data showing up?

Go to the Health app → your profile → Apps → youFAST and make sure all permissions are enabled. Then reopen youFAST and pull down to refresh.

How do I restore my Pro subscription?

Go to Settings → youFAST Pro → Restore Purchases. This will restore your subscription on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Does youFAST work with Apple Watch?

Yes! The youFAST watch app shows your fasting ring, live timer, and current phase. You can also start and stop fasts directly from your wrist.

Is my data private?

Completely. youFAST stores all data on your device only. Nothing is sent to external servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
